Still under the effects of the first presidential election, after the end of dictatorship, the Brazilian people watched terrified the announcement of an economic plan that would forever mark the history of the country. The infamous “Plano Collor”, established the blockage of people’s bank savings, and generated a true disaster in the lives of those who depended on those savings. Almost thirty years later, this period is recalled through an intimate portrait by the former Economy Minister and by an ordinary family of Sao Paulo’s countryside.
